Non-District Wins vs. Graham, Merkel

The non-district schedule continued this past week for the Eastland Lady Mavericks with a home game against the Lady Blues of Graham and then a road trip this past Friday against the Merkel Lady Badgers. The Lady Mavs defeated Graham, 50-29. Coach Huxen commented about the first half, “The first half was really sloppy, we didn’t play well on either end in the first half. 1st half defense was really bad. We made a few adjustments at halftime and came out and played with some real intensity on both ends.” At the half, the Lady Mavs were down by 2, 17-15.
