Majors Leads Offensively with Double

The Eastland Mavericks continued to get their basketball legs underneath them this past week with games at home against the Graham Steers and on the road on Friday evening against the Merkel Badgers. Last Tuesday, Dec 16, the Mavericks hosted the AAAA Graham Steers in the MarshallGymnasium in a non-district contest. Both teams were evenly matched, battling back and forth all evening. But the Mavericks pulled out the tough victory against the Steers by 5, 57-52.
