I currently serve as a director on the Eastland County Historical Commission and the Ranger Historical Preservation Society. I am currently working on a project known as World War II Park on Loop 254 in Ranger. I recently visited the park and found a Ranger Veterans Bronze Marker dedicated to those from Ranger who have or will serve in the armed forces. It was a cement podium with a bronze marker on top.
