Betty Lou May Obituary

   EASTLAND – Betty Lou May, 72 of Eastland, passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015.  Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Eastland City Cemetery with Rev. Eva Vickers officiating and under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

     Mrs. May was born March 31, 1943 in Cisco to Roscoe Abbott and Ola (Green) Abbott.  She grew up in Cisco.  She married Charles R. May on March 31, 1957.  She worked as a machine operator for Hollywood Vassarette for 10 years, worked in home health care for 2 years, and for Wal-Mart for 20 years.  She was a Baptist.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Randy May; 2 sisters, Mary Willams, and Shirley Smith; and a sister-in-law, Mary Abbott.

     Survivors include 2 sons, Rodney C. May and wife Ramona, and Richard May and wife Cathy; 1 daughter, Dee Ann Williams and husband Sam; 1 brother, Richard Dale Abbott; 1 sister, Margie Froehlich and husband Roger; and 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
