The Eastland Mavericks improved their District 7 2A record to a perfect 2 wins and 0 losses as the offense dominated in an 8- 0 win in seven innings on Tuesday as Breckenridge had a tough outing.
Eastland Mavericks scored two runs in the sixth on a fielder’s choice and an RBI double by Matt Majors. Majors racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Mavs. Chris Howard kept Breckenridge off the board during his six innings of work. Howard struck out five and allowed two walks and three hits.
