Thanks to the support of caring community members, Gorman ISD is opening a Ben Carson Reading Room for its students. The opening day ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 9a.m. in the auditorium at Maxfield Elementary School. The 45 minute ceremony, followed by a reception, will include presentations from those who have made the reading room possible, school officials, and even presentations from the students themselves. The program will also include a personalized greeting from Dr. Ben Carson.
