The Mavericks scored four runs of its own in the first. Eastland Mavericks scored on an RBI single by Coffee, a walk by Carlton, an error, and a bases loaded walk. Down 3, the Loboes tied the game at 4 after Marcus Hurtado singled scoring Reed, Kaleb Rains singled scoring Hurtado and Tyler Callahan scored on a bases loaded walk.
