The Eastland Mavericks were in one of the toughest boys’ basketball districts in the state. They were able to go rounds deep in the playoffs with an exciting comeback win over Henrietta. They hit a Wall in the next round. With a number of younger players stepping up this season, the Mavs look to continue their winning ways in a small district. Here are Coach Marwitz’ thoughts.
