Temp Manager Is Named; City Hall Is Sorting Details Of Auditor’s New Shocking Report; Streets To Humbletown Get Okay

An Auditor’s report for the fiscal year of 2012- 2013 for the City of Cisco from Mr. Cameron Gulley, set the wheels in motion for an internal investigation. Gulley delivered the information to a full Council, with the exception of a City Manager. Jim Baker, now the former City Manager, tenured his resignation last week. The Council entered into executive session and reconvened to announce the acceptance of Mr. Baker’s request and seat as interim, Peggy Ledbetter. Mr. Gulley told the Council that there were numerous deficiencies and there needed to be an audit of transactions. Some bills were not made for the right amount of usage, some customers had minimum and negative bills, others had high readings and were inaccurate.
