Volunteer Firemen Visit Rising Star Elementary Students During Fire Prevention Week

Local volunteer firemen visited with students at Rising Star Elementary during Fire Prevention Week earlier this month. Chief Josh Constancio gave fire safety presentations to students in Pre-K through the 5th grade. The program covered several topics of fire safety including “Stop, Drop and Roll”, not playing with matches, having a designated area to go to outside the home in case of a fire and the importance of smoke alarms.
