Edwards scores lone touchdown

The Ranger Bulldogs opened their District 8 AA Division 2 schedule byhosting the 4-0 Santo Wildcats this past Friday evening.The Wildcats made a resounding statement for their district foes with a 48-8 victory over the Bulldogs. Santo scored 22 points in the first half and coasted to the 40-point win. The only bright spot of the evening for the Bulldogs was a Christian Uhlhorn 20-yard pass to Keith Edwards in the fourth quarter for Ranger’s only score. Jeffery Beatty successfully made the 2-point conversion after Edwards’ touchdown.
