3rd Quarter is Difference for Ranger

It was about time. After being on the road for thefirst 3 weeks of the season, the Ranger Bulldogs finally played at Warden Stadium in the friendly confines of Ranger, Texas. The Varsity Ranger Bulldogs fumigated the Irion County Hornets in a 42-27victory. The game was tight at the half with the Bulldogs up by 6, 26-20. The Bulldogs defense allowed only 1 score by the Hornets in the 3rd quarter. The offense, led by senior Landon Wilkinson, was able to put 16 points up and seal the home win. The two defenses didn’t allow a point in the final quarter, enabling the Bulldogs to send the Hornets flying home, 42-27.
