RANGER – Raymond Carson Propst, Sr., 60, of Ranger passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at his home in Ranger.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 5th at the Church of God in Ranger, Texas.
Raymond was born March 09, 1955 at Eglin, AFB in Florida to Oriville T. and Doris Annabelle (Wedgeworth) Propst. He attended
Del Valle High School in Del Valle, Tx. He was an Eagle Scout and a lifelong mechanic. He affirmed a profession of faith in Jesus Christ
in February 2015.
He is survived by wife Connie (Rose); sons, Raymond Jr, Matthew, Jeremy, and Christopher all of Portland, Oregon; four grandchildren;
sisters Martha L. and husband Richard A. Booher of Smithville, Tx. and Rebecca L. and husband W. Brett Hart of Iowa Park, Tx;
brother David A. Propst of Pflugerville, Tx.; stepbrother Wesley Lanpher of Prude Ranch, Tx; Sisters and brother in-laws, Roseatta
and husband Jackie Stephens, Debbie and husband Rocki Hughes, Paul Rose and Dana McGough all of Ranger and Bobby Rose and
Will Cullen of California; and mother-in-law Hisako Mayfield, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Raymond is preceeded in death by his parents and father-in-law, TJ Mayfield.
Memorials can be made to the Church of God in Ranger (514 Strawn Rd. Ranger, TX 76470) in Raymond’s name in lieu of flowers.
