Ranger Teacher Awarded $1,000 CECA Grant

Through the Operation Round-Up Program, Comanche Electric Cooperative awarded five $1,000 Classroom Grants to area schools. Ranger Junior High teacher Lindsey Hawvermale was awarded one of those grants for her 6-8 grade Science Classes. The grant will allow Ms. Hawvermale to purchase the Power House Stem Kit. This is a one of a kind model house that uses principles of solar energy, wind power, and greenhouse to create a self-sustained system.
