Jackie Ray Hammer

CISCO – Jackie Ray Hammer, age 73, passed away on Monday July 27, 2015. A funeral service was held on Saturday ,  August 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at East Cisco Baptist Church. Burial followed at Nimrod Cemetery under the direction of Chambers  Funeral Home in Cisco. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday. Jackie Ray Hammer was born on March 21, 1942 to William J. Hammer and Jesse (Hopper) Hammer in Cisco, Texas. He rana machine shop in Cisco for many years and loved  to hunt.He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Thomas “Fuzz”  Hammer, Aubrey Hammer,Pete Hammer, Gerald  Hammer and Edward  Hammer. Jackie is survived by his son Gregory Lane Hammer and his wife Jerri of Arlington; his daughter Rhonda Lunceford and  her husband Jerry of Rising Star; two brothers, James Hammer and his wife Jean of Bowie and  illy Hammer and his wife Katherine of Pampa; four sisters, Dessie Covington and her husband Cliff of Cisco, Frances Floyd and her husband C.P. of Cisco, Dixie Haws and her husband Terry of Cisco and Glenda Jessup and her husband Claude of Cisco and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
