Michael Raymond Cheshire Obituary

   WHITESBORO – Michael Raymond Cheshire, age 71 of Whitesboro, TX passed from this life Tuesday, October, 20, 2015 surrounded by his family.  Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, TX under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home of Cisco.

Mike was born December 7, 1943 in Gorman, TX to Franklin (Francis) and Johnnie Massey Cheshire. He grew up in Cisco, TX and attended Cisco High before getting his GED and being drafted by the Army and sent straight to Vietnam in 1969.  After serving in the Army, Mike graduated from McMurry University in Abilene and received his Bachelors of Art degree.  Michael loved all types of art and used his degree while working at Texas Instruments as Administrative Program Management Support – Missile Division, creating, designing and marketing from June, 1978 to December, 1994. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Franklin Clyde, Jr, Bettye Lou and John Campbell.    

He is survived by his children: Daughters; Kerri Phillips and husband Alex, and Renee Orr and husband Robert, Sons; Jon Cheshire and Patrick Cheshire, Grandchildren; Colton Phillips and wife Ivory, Charlea Phillips, Vanessa Bray, Michael Phillips, Rebecca Bray, Ethan Bray, Brooke Cheshire and Landon Cheshire.  He is also survived sisters; Claudia Maxine, and Frances Kay Loy and brother; Jimmie Dan.
