The Loboes hosted the Anson Tigers this past Friday for a double dip. In Game 1, the Loboes jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 3rd inning. They couldn’t hold the lead, however, and the Tigers scored 3
runs in the 5th inning to win the first game, 3-2. Cole Scott was hung with the loss, giving up the 3 runs on 7 hits. He struck out 4. Rains continued the hot bat with a 2 for 3 performance at the plate, driving in 1 of the 2 runs. Scott drove in the other run. Vernon Owings had a good day, going 2 for 3.
