Ranger College (Texas) announced today that Robert Reid has assumed the Head Men’s Basketball coaching position and Earl Carson has been elevated to the Associate Head Coaching position. These changes came about as a result of Larry Brown’s sudden departure from the college. Dr. William J. Campion, President, had no comment on his departure but was very pleased with the optimistic outlook that Reid, a longtime NBA star, demonstrates toward this season and his players. The President also stated that Reid and Carson both bring tremendous positive attitudes to the men’s basketball program.
