Cisco College Promotes Dion Dean to Head Football Coach

On July 14, the Cisco College Board of Directors approved the promotion of Dion Dean to the head coaching position of the Cisco College Wranglers football team. Dean spent his last 3 years as the Secondary Coach under Coach Scott Taylor. After interviewing with new Athletic Director Steve Hudman, Dean was brought before the board as Hudman’s choice for replacing Taylor. Dean grew up in the South Dallas area and graduated from Lancaster High School in 2004. He then spent 2 years at Tyler Junior College in the secondary. He then went to East Central University in Ada, OK again playing strong safety and free safety. He was a graduate assistant there and graduated spring 2009.
