#12 Mavericks Remain Perfect In District

The Eastland Mavericks kept a perfect record in district with a couple of close games this past week as they moved past undefeated Cisco in a contest matching two even teams before a packed crowd at Maverick Baseball complex before squeaking out a win in Breckenridge by a 3-2 score on Friday to close out the week. On Friday, Eastland traveled to Breckenridge to take on the Bucks in the final game of the series between the two teams and escaped with a 3-2 win on a rough night hitting with 12 fly ball outs of 21 total and leaving at least 6 runners stranded on base.
