Mavericks Close Out Consecutive District Championships With 8-7 Win Over Loboes

The first two games were pitcher’s duels featuring a total of 9 hits and 6 total runs, 3 for each team but the Loboes/Mavericks game on Monday night to decide the district championship and seeding for the upcoming playoffs let it be known from the start that this wasn’t going to be the same type of game. In the first two games, there were a total of 2 errors by Cisco and none by Eastland but Eastland wouldn’t get out of the first inning without committing two errors, both throwing errors to first base by fielders and then Cisco would get in on the error run with two of their own in the bottom of the first.
