Wildcats Begin District With Loss To Buffs

The Rising Star Wildcats opened their district schedule last Friday evening when they traveled to Cross Plains to take on the Buffaloes. Matthew Lawrence led the Wildcats with 12 points but it wouldn’t be enough as the Buffs defeated the Wildcats, 55-42. The loss moves the district record of the Wildcats to 0 wins and 1 loss. With the win, Cross Plains is now 1-0 in district.
