Lipan, Lingleville Too Much For Panthers

By Stephen Forester

The Gorman Panthers finished the first half of district last week with games against the Lipan Indians and the Lingleville Cardinals. The Panthers looked to build on their 1-2 district record and go over .500. Unfortunately, the Indians and Cardinals had other plans. Last Tuesday, the Panthers took on the Lingleville Cardinals in their 4th district game. Lingleville started really strong and took a 21-9 lead after the 1st quarter. The Cardinals continued their hot shooting with a big 30-point 2nd quarter to hold a 51-22 lead into the half.
