Mavs 7-on-7 Win Pool C

By Stephen Forester For the second consecutive year, the Eastland Mavericks’ 7-on-7 football  team swept the pool play on Thursday afternoon. However,  nlike last season’s  ship bracket. The tournament began on Thursday with 3 pool C games. Depending on how the Mavs would come out on Thursday would determinethe bracket play for Friday. The Mavs would win their pool, going 3 and 0, putting them in the Championship bracket Friday morning. The day would come to an early end for the Mavs as the Burnet Bulldogs upended the Mavs by 19.
