In last year’s shootout at Maverick Stadium, it was the offenses that shined in a triple overtime thriller that went to the Mavs, 64-62. This year’s contest between the Clyde Bulldogs and Eastland Mavericks in Clyde was much more of a defensive battle with both teams making stops in key moments of the game.
