Eastland Baseball Takes Game 1 vs. Alpine

The Eastland Mavericks won Game 1 last night against Alpine in the Area Round of the playoffs, 7-3.  J.D. Coffee went 2 for 3.  Braden Blackwell also had 2 hits and an RBI.  Also with RBIs were Matt Majors, Clay Brewer and Zach Carlton.  Chris Howard pitched all 7 innings, giving up 3 runs and striking out 8.
