Rising Star Lions Club Receives Humanitarian Grant

Rising Star– This year the Texas Lions Foundation awarded one Humanitarian Grant at their State Convention and the Rising Star Lions Club was the fortunate recipient. Past District Governor Billy Wood presented the Rising Star Lions Club a $5000 Humanitarian Grant on behalf of the Foundation on May 24th, 2016 in Rising Star, TX. The Texas Lions Grant is in addition to a $1000 grant from District 2-E1.
