Christmas Eve Candlelight Service At FUMC Rising Star

First United Methodist Church Rising Star and their sister-church May United Methodist will have a combined worship service Thursday, December 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the recently renovated FUMC Rising Star sanctuary. The worship service will be ‘Seven Lessons and Carols’ a narration of the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. This isn’t merely a spectator worship service; the congregation will join in with the singing of traditional Christmas carols throughout the service.
