Stanley B. Honea Obituary

    BAIRD- Stanley B. Honea, age 58, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at his home in Baird, Texas.   

   Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, December 4th at Scranton Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Hatcher officiating. Services are under the direction of Parker Funeral Home in Baird. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  

   Stanley was born October 22, 1957, in Baird, Texas to Stanley Benjamin and Juanita Ingram Honea, Sr. He attended school in Cisco, Texas. He married Joann Autry on August 23, 1997, in Albany, Texas. He worked in the oil field as a drilling supervisor. Stanley had lived in Baird for the past 3 years, moving here from Granbury. He loved his grandchildren, his animals, and loved to fish and hunt.   

   Survivors include his wife, Joann Honea of Baird; his mother Juanita Campbell of Baird; 4 sons, Ben Honea and wife Shanna of Cisco, Buddy Honea and wife Brianna of Baird, Eric Womack and wife Belinda of Abilene, Jeff Honea of Cisco; 3 daughters, Genie Johnson of Kilgore, Texas, Danyell Black of Cisco, and Laura Wharton and husband Richard of South Carolina; 2 brothers, Joseph “Sonny” Burge of Tucson, Arizona and Robert Burge of Blumfield, Missouri; 1 sister, Bertia Starr of Cisco; 15 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
