Reba L. Honea Bisbee Fish Obituary

   ABILENE-  Reba L. Honea Bisbee Fish, age 83, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at her residence in Abilene under the care of Hendrick Hospice. 

   Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Parker Funeral Home in Baird, Texas, with Pastor Jimmy Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Ross Cemetery, Spencer-Price Addition.

   A visitation will take place Saturday evening from 4:00 until 5:30 PM at the funeral home.

   Reba was born January 21, 1931, in Cisco, Texas, to Jake and Ava Kimbrough Honea. She graduated from Cisco High School in 1948 and has always loved attending her school reunions. Reba attended Angelo State College and graduated from Cisco College. She married John H. Bisbee in 1950, and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1969. She married Homer Fish on April 18, 1972. She and Homer had lived in Abilene the past 12 years, moving there from Clyde.

   Reba was a devoted mother and grandmother dedicated to talking care of her family, including her parents and nieces and nephews. She was lovingly known as Granmomma and Aunt Baba. She fought her battle with cancer graciously and was an inspiration to those around her.

   Survivors include her husband Homer Fish of Abilene, 3 daughters, Debbie Hatchett of Baird, Catherine Parker and husband Robert of Aledo, Texas, and Maribeth Garza and husband Franky of Frisco, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Scott Hatchett and wife Lynsey of Forney, Texas, Kayla Goodman and husband Cory of Abilene, Texas, Jeff Parker and wife Amber of La Vernia, Texas, and Caleb and Miranda Garza of Frisco, Texas; 6 great-grandchildren, Paige, Pree, Vaden, Jayden, Callahan, and Adelynn.

   She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Howell Bisbee, and her siblings Vernon Honea, Derwin Honea, and Geraldine Howell.
