Cody Vance Cox Obituary

   EASTLAND- Cody Vance Cox went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. 

   He was born in Eastland on August 29, 1957 to Cody and Lanell Cox. He lived his whole life in Eastland. He married Laverne Rhyne on July 31, 1978. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved to fish and work in the garden. 

   He will be missed by all who knew him. 

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Cody and Lanell Cox. 

  He is survived by his wife of 37 years Laverne Cox; daughter, Kristy and son-in-law, Kris Rheingans of Belle Chase, LA; son, Cody Cox of San Angelo; and daughter, Tanita Cox of Eastland; five grandchildren, Torree, Tyson, Jayden, Colby, Grayson; one great-grandson, Benjamin. Also survived by two brothers, Grant Cox and Curtis Cox both of Eastland.
