Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!

The sun has set on the first day of 2017 – I hope that it was a nice one for you. After church, my mom fed us a delicious meal of black-eyed peas, cabbage, cornbread, a hamburger/noodle/tomato/cheese concoction that’s been a favorite in our family for years, cantaloupe, and warm cinnamon apples. I skipped the Mississippi Mud Pie, but I did eat seconds of the goulash…
