Wanda Maxcine Huey Tarver

    Wanda Maxcine Huey Tarver, 88, when home to Heaven November 28, 2015 around 10 p.m.. 

  Maxcine, or Max as she was know by all, was born February 11, 1927 in Coleman Texas to Lucille Huey, the second born of four children.  She had 2 brothers, James Wilbur Huey and James Richard Crab, and one sister Joann Crab.  She married Delbert Tarver, February 1, 1947.  They were married 62 years prior to his death.  They had three children Jenny, Deborah (Debbie) and Steven (Steve). 

   She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, both brothers and her son.

   She was a long time member of the Long Branch Baptist Church, where she taught youth in Sunday School for about twenty years.  She later became a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church until her death. She worked at the glove factory in Cisco for about ten years until it closed and then worked at Mott’s for about ten years in the toy department.

   Survivors include; children Jenny Franklin, Deborah and husband Roger Crume.  Grandchildren; Kathleen Franklin, Clinton Franklin and wife Kellie, Amber Crume, Anne Hatchel and husband Aaron.  Great Grandchildren; Jacob and Garrett Hatchel, and Jonathon Franklin.  

   Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Tim Martin officiating with burial in Romney Cemetery.
