Maxine McMullen Frasier

   Maxine McMullen Frasier, 88, of De Leon, went home to her Lord and Savior Sunday, June 21, 2015, with her family by her side. 

   She was born July 1, 1926, in Comanche County to Archie Fredrick and Mary Etta Hodges McMullen. Maxine married Denman Olen Frasier July 15, 1944, in Gorman.

   Maxine worked as a bookkeeper in the retail industry for many years

before retiring to De Leon. She was a long time member of De Leon

Church of Christ, Hwy 6. While living in Falfurrias, Texas, she enjoyed teaching Ladies Bible Class for many years. She was a devoted and loving homemaker for her family. She selflessly dedicated her life to caring for her husband and children. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, ceramics and needle work. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and neighbor. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

   She is survived by her son, Jerry David Frasier and wife, Nora; daughters, Jo Evelyn Carey and husband, Dan, and Freida Lea Harrison and husband, Harold; grandchildren, Christy Corder and husband, Doyle, Brent Carey and wife, Brittany, Jeff Harrison and wife, Mendy, Gina Borden and husband, Bryan, and Patrick Frasier; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Fred McMullen; and other extended family. Maxine has been reunited with her husband, Denman Frasier; and her parents, Archie and Mary McMullen Williams.

   Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home in De Leon with Minister Bryan Borden and Minister Micah Dawson officiating. Music was provided by Doyle and Christy Corder. 

   Graveside services followed in Oakland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Harrison, Brent Carey, Patrick Frasier, Rick Smitherman, Heath Matteson and Dale Harrison.
