Leisa Gayle Maupin Obituary

   Leisa Gayle Maupin, age 56, passed away, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at her home.

   A memorial service will be held  at 1:00 P.M. Monday,  November 9, 2015 at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Gorman.

   Leisa was born July 26, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Glendon Leon Stokes and Bobbie Christine (Baggett) Stokes.  She married Jefferey Maupin on September 24, 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas.  She worked for Walmart in Eastland for about 10 years.  

   She is survived by her husband, Jeff Maupin of Desdemona; three children, son, Cody Maupin and wife, Jess of Gorman; two daughters, Jamie Justice and husband, James of Lorena and Ashley Grice and husband, Aaron of Lavernia; father, Glendon Stokes of Granbury; sister, Connie Taylor and husband, Danny of Kennedale; grandchildren, Jackson Grice, Joanna Justice, Blair Maupin and Wyatt Maupin.

   She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Stokes.
