Ethan Anderson Allen

RISING STAR- Ethan Anderson Allen, age 94, of Rising Star, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Rising Star. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the Rising Star Cemetery with Joseph Dodson officiating. He was born to Artis and Fannie (Geddie) Allen in Van Zandt County, Texas on July 30, 1920. Survivors include his daughter, Connie Adams and husband, Tom; 8 grandchildren, Angie Harris, Debbie Thompson, Elaine Fenton, Tonya Bryant, Elizabeth Lee, Tom Adams Jr., Donny Adams, Crystal Adams; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special friend, Betty Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby(Jordy) Allen; daughter, Sandra Leonard; granddaughter, Lanna Leonard; 2 sisters; 3 brothers. The family had a time of visitation from family and friends on Wednesday, March 4 from 6:00-7:00pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home.
