Rising Star Tennis Competes at District

The Rising Star boys competed at the district tennis tournament in San Angelo this past week. In the boys’ singles, Matt Lawrence defeated a young man from Robert Lee in the first round. Lawrence took on a boy from Bronte in the 2nd round and was defeated. In doubles’ action, the duo of Ben Boucher and Hernan Reyes also won their first round matchup with a duo from Panther Creek.
