Cynthia Vanet (Hutton) Jones Obituary

Cynthia Vanet (Hutton) Jones, age 75, of Dublin formerly of Rising Star passed away at her home in Dublin on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Higginbotham Funeral Chapel in Cross Plains with Mike Hanna officiating; burial will follow in the Rising Star Cemetery.

She was born on June 15, 1939 in Rising Star to Bailey Smith and Inez (Hughes) Hutton.  She married Carter Jones.  She worked as a motel manager as well as a homemaker.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She and her husband had resided in Dublin for the past 9-10 years.

She is survived by her husband Carter Jones, Sr. of Dublin; two sons, Nathan Jones, Jr. and James Jones of Rogers, AR; a sister, Eveline McAfee of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Wesley, Gary, and Kara Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
