Bill Kent Obituary

   CENTER- Bill Kent, 76, of Center, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016, in Center.

   Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.,

Friday, February 26, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Hollis Bass officiating.  Interment will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Martinsville.

   Mr. Kent was born December 4, 1939, in Rising Star, to Bert Kent and Ada Florence Kent.  He was a member of VFW Post #8904, where he had 100 hours of community

service, Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 and Old Home Baptist Church.  He enjoyed reading his Bible, going to lodge, exercising and spending time with his family.

   He is survived by Wife: Minnie Sue Kent of Center;   Daughters: Sherri Addison of Center,

Michelle Scarber of Nacogdoches;  Grandchildren: Christy Allen and husband, William, of San Augustine, Karen Whitehead and husband, Joey, of Bremerton, Washington

Sammy Addison Jr. and wife, Carrie, of San Augustine,  Amanda Scarber of Nacogdoches; Great Grandchildren: Haven Allen of San Augustine,  Payton Ray Allen of San Augustine; 

Connor Whitehead of Bremerton, Washington,  Paisley Whitehead of Bremerton, Washington,  

Kimberly Addison of San Augustine,  Jessica Addison of San Augustine,  Zachery Addison of San Augustine, Alex Griffin of Pineland

   Preceded in death by Parents: Bert Kent and Ada Florence Kent;  Brothers: Bert Ray Kent, Leroy Kent; Sisters: Ida Sue Kent, Twyla Wallace. 

   Pallbearers will be members of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 and VFW Post #8904.  Honorary pallbearers will be William Allen and Sammy Addison Jr.
