County Commissioners To Meet Monday April 28

Eastland County Commissioners’ Court will meet in a regular meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 in the Eastland County Commissioners’ Courtroom, Eastland, Texas to consider the following agenda items among others: Discuss County bid process and regulations (Bill Horn); Discuss use of Supplemental Environment Projects (SEP) funds from TCEQ for trash removal (Judge Fields, Dr. Joe McFarland and Lori Dodd); Present to court reports sent to TXDOT for County Energy Transportation Reinvestment Zone Grant (Commissioner Rains); Discuss accepting donation of road materials from Bickle Construction (Commissioner Rutledge); Discuss requesting an extension from TXDOT for the unfinished projects for the equivalent match work (Judge Fields) (Tabled from April 14); Discuss entering into an interlocal Agreement between Eastland Centennial Memorial Library and the County of Eastland; Review and adopt changes to Eastland Personnel Policy Sections 4.09 Pre-employment Physical Examinations, 4.10 Testing and 4.11 Section (County Auditor). 

Also on the agenda is the 911 update, Cooperative Dispatch Update, County Burn Ban Update, and Personnel Matters.

In Budgetary and Appropriative Matters the Certification of additional revenue, Emergency amendments, Line Item adjustments, Auditor/Treasurer report, and Financial reports will be presented.

In closing, Commissioners will review bills, claims and accounts for payment.

Following adjournment, the Old Rip Commemoration will be held in the Courthouse lobby at 11:00 a.m.
