That serious question may have been partially answered Friday when civic leaders from throughout the county met at the invitation of Eastland Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cecil Funderburg. Following a gourmet luncheon prepared and served by women at the Carbon Community Center the guest speaker was Nickie Harle, retired director of the popular 26-county Texas Midwest Community Network (TMCN).
