Cats Get Bin Win Over Eula

The Rising Star Wildcats may or may not make the playoffs. As of press time, they needed to defeat the May Tigers and Cross Plains needed to defeat the Baird Bears. If Baird won Tuesday (Feb. 16) and Rising Star lost, then Baird would be in and the Cats out. If both teams lose, there will be a tie for the third playoff spot. The Wildcats have put themselves in the right position with a key 54-32 victory over the Eula Pirates. The Pirates, who are in second place in 1A District 15, were shut down by the Wildcat defense. They were also lit up from the Rising Star deep shooters.
