NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Al "Wade" Rehm, music lover, food buff, avid reader, daily lotto and crossword puzzle player, animal and TV enthusiast, passed peacefully Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. Service: No services scheduled at this time.
Memorials: Donations to Rockwood Cemetery, Box 695, Rockwood, Texas 76873, would be greatly appreciated.
Wade had a lifelong appreciation for beef and pork, especially bacon. After all, he worked hard raising grand champion barrow hogs. He was an A&M graduate who made his career in prize-winning hogs. The music score of his life was everything
from Merle Haggard (biggest fan) to Led Zeppelin to Aretha Franklin, set to scenes from TV shows, "The Mountain Men," "National Geographic," "The O'Reilly Factor" and great western movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Alice Lilly Rehm; and his sister, Mary Esslinger.
Survivors: His loving sisters, Neva Smith (Gene), Vita Gilpin (Roger) and Bobbie Robicheaux; his uncle, John Rutherford (JoAnne); eight nephews; four nieces; nine grandnieces; and three grandnephews. Wade will be missed by all.
