Gorman ISD Board Hears Positive Reports At Meeting

The Gorman ISD Board of Trustees held its regular meeting on Monday evening, September 14th 2015. A highlight of the meeting was the PTO report given by president Lori Dodd. The PTO’s booth at the Peanut Festival raised $200 dollars in 3 hours, and the organization has exciting plans for additional fund raising. The PTO has approved the purchase of some books for the library and is working on building a solid volunteer base for the school’s Reading Room. Plans are also being formed for events that will continue to facilitate the development of great parent-teacher relationships.
