Members of the Rising Star VFD attended the Eastland County Fire Fighters Assoc. monthly training, the objectives covered were SCBA, Search and Rescue, and how to fill and clean an SCBA. Members learned how to search in a confined space, and how to maximize their air use. This was a joint training hosted by Olden VFD and subjects taught by Eastland VFD and Cisco VFD. Ranger VFD set up the mobile Incident Command Unit, for all members to tour and see it set up in operation mode. This piece of equipment belongs to the County and is available for use for large scale incidents anywhere in the county by any Police, Fire or EMS.
