Ronnie Neal Love Obituary
Ronnie Neal Love, age 73 of Ranger, passed away, Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Ranger Care Center.
Service was 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Gorman Church of Christ with Jason Wilder and Durward Webb officiating. Burial followed at Alameda Cemetery.
Ronnie was born August 31, 1941 in Gorman, Texas to Melva Love and Eunice (Weeks) Love. He graduated from Gorman High School in 1959. He married Barbara Ann Jobe on January 24, 1965. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. Ronnie was one of the best farmer’s in the country. He was currently farming 5,000 to 6,000 acres of irrigated row crops and farming in Eastland, Gaines and Yoakum counties in Texas and Lea County in New Mexico. He served on many committees and boards. He was chosen Farmer of the Year at Gorman and Farm Family of the Year in Eastland and also chosen as the best conservation farmer of our region. He loved nature and liked to watch things grow. Ronnie loved his church family and was currently serving as deacon at the Gorman Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Love of Ranger; son, Kevin Love and wife, Kara of San Angelo; sister, Joy Campbell and husband, Larry of Gorman; mother-in-law, Dorothy Nicks and husband, A. T. of Eastland; sister-in-law, Sherry Jobe of Caddo Mills; grandchildren, Kailey Love, Kelly Love, Kimber Love and Kortney Love all of San Angelo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Annette Love.
