Flossie Rowena Dawkins Obituary

   Flossie Rowena Dawkins, age 81, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 in Lockney, Texas.  

   Born March 12, 1934 in Wolfforth, Texas she married Troy Lee Dawkins who preceeded her in death. Then she married C.J. Dawkins who also preceeded her in death. She was the daughter of Amasa Wyatt Shugart and Mother Emma Woodall. She worked  several years for Sears Roebuck Co. and was an Avon rep. for 25 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.  

   She is survived by a daughter, Pam Bowden of Abilene; son, Michael Dawkins of Plano; brother, Bud Shugart of Strawn; sisters, Billie Ruth Wilkerson of Odessa, Dixie Pack of Desdemona, Belle English of Plainview, Odalee Thomas of Breckenridge, and Nora Robertson of North Carolina. 

   She was preceeded in death by her parents and sister Maureen Shugart. Family visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Higginbotham Funeral Home in Gorman.
