The Cisco Folklife Festival returns April 25 and 26 on the campus of Cisco College with great food, entertainment, activities for the kids, pioneer life demonstrations and unique shopping experiences. Businesses in downtown Cisco are supporting this community event with special activities during this popular weekend. On Friday evening, April 24, the fun kicks off at 8:00 p.m. with a true Texas tradition, a street dance featuring the popular Jason Ryan Band. “We invite everyone to come out to the 100 block of East 7th and hear some fine music and enjoy dancing under the stars,” said Sean Grose, owner of Waverly’s Coffee & Gifts. “The dance is free, along with the tea, but donations are welcome. We want to set the mood for all of the fun happening in Cisco during the Folklife Festival weekend.”
