2014 Eastland Mavericks AAA Division 2 Region 1 Semi-Finalist!!

Game 1– Mavericks Be-gin Watkins Era with 45-12 Win over Merkel The Mavs opened the 2014 football season at home with a non-district battle against the Merkel Badgers. Eastland was paced by Josh Gosnell who completed 17 of 20 passes for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also rushed for 37 yards on 5 carries.  Matt Majors had 8 catches for 120 yards and a score. The Mavs came out of the chute fring and cruised to victory.
