Roberta Duncan will celebrate her 95th birthday on August 20, 2016. Roberta was born near Cisco in 1921 to R.C. (Bob) and Ethel (King) Balderree. She was the second of five children and graduated as a member of Morton Valley’s Class of 1941. Roberta married Bill Jack Duncan on July 9, 1943, in Alexandria, Louisiana. They made their home in Ranger, Texas, and had one daughter, Sandra Duncan Golden. Roberta and Bill enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his death in 1986.
